the website of The Florida Sandplay Therapy Association.
Our association, in keeping with the goals of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy, and Sandplay Therapists of America, was founded to educate professionals interested in learning this highly effective expressive arts therapy, as well as to promote awareness of Sandplay Therapy for the general public.
FSTA members are credentialed therapists, educators and trainers. Our organization consists of Sandplay enthusiasts and STA Members, including Certified Teaching Members, each having more than ten years of experience in Sandplay Therapy.
These members provide an educational resource for therapists, counselors, and students desiring to incorporate the modality of Sandplay into their practice.
They also provide Sandplay Therapy for children, families, and individuals needing to heal from a trauma, difficult life passage, or psychological disorder.
In addition, they work with teens and adults to find deeper understanding and meaning within their lives.
