Our workshops provide continued learning for therapists. You are welcome to join fellow students, meeting for education and consultation with certified teachers of the Sandplay Therapists of America. We gather one Saturday per month for five (5) hours of STA credit toward STA requirements. Topics include Jungian Theory, Sandplay Therapy Fundamentals and Adult/Child cases

WINTER INTENSIVE

THE WITNESS IN THE SANDPLAY PROCESS

January 19 & 20, 2018.
Friday (Registration 6:30 p.m.) 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

This Intensive Retreat offers a Sandplay Therapy experience for professional growth, learning, introspection and connection. The Florida Sandplay Therapy Association (FSTA) community invites practicing therapists for education and to deepen your experiences of the sand. 

Psyche reveals herself through creative self-expression in the tray, held by Witness and Sandplayer. This workshop will look at how the well-being of the therapist impacts one’s ability to Witness and hold the deep experience of the Sandplayer. What is happening to the Witness while containing the Sandplay Therapy process? What does Witnessing involve? 

The Sandplay Intensive Retreat will include presentations by FSTA members, discussion groups, and experiential exercises.

LOCATION: Home of Trudy Rankin, 2659 Handley Blvd., Lakeland, FL. 
Housing arrangements can be made through Trudy.

COST: Early Bird Fee: $130.00 / $105.00 for students & interns. Payment must be received by Dec. 19th, 2017 for Early Bird Rate. Regular Registration: $150.00 / $125.00 for students & interns.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Written cancellation notice is required (letter or email) up to the date of the event. A 10% processing fee will be deducted from your refund. Otherwise, a voucher will be given. If you do not notify us by the date of the event, you will not receive a refund or credit.

LOSS AND GRIEF IN IMMIGRATION EXPRESSED THROUGH SANDPLAY THERAPY

TIMES: All Saturday Workshops meet 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Home of Trudy Rankin, 2659 Handley Blvd., Lakeland, FL.

COST: Early bird fees: $95.00 for therapists / $70.00 for students (1 month prior). Regular Registration: $110.00 for therapists / $85.00 for students.
